Zylofon boss ‘unites’ Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale at Akwasidae

Two of Ghana’s dancehall rivals, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale who for the past weeks have been throwing innuendos and jabs at each other met at the Akwasidae Festival held at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi yesterday. They were part of the team from Zylofon Media which joined the Asantehene and his people to celebrate the Akwasidae, a festival observed by the Asanteman. The Akwasidae Festival is celebrated by the Ashanti people and chiefs in Ashanti as well as the Ashanti diaspora. The festival is celebrated on a Sunday, once every six weeks. The Akwasidae Festival is next only in importance to the National Day celebrations. CAF Confederations Cup: Kotoko to launch campaign tomorrow

Kotoko will launch its 2018 CAF Confederations Cup campaign tomorrow Asante Kotoko is inviting the media to the launching of its 2018 CAF Confederations Cup campaign in Kumasi tomorrow Tuesday January 30, 2018.  The event which starts at 11:30am at the Baba Yara Stadium is to announce the extent of preparedness of departments of the club for the upcoming competition.  Kotoko host CARA Brazzaville in Kumasi for the first leg of the first Preliminary Stage between 9-11 February with the return game in Congo set for either Tuesday February 20 or Wednesday February 21, 2018.  The club will avail itself to the media for questioning into various aspects of its preparations for the competition.
